The Agency
Cazenovia Recovery Systems, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit organization that provides residential services to individuals who are at risk for homelessness and suffer from substance-related and mental health disorders. The residential facilities are tiered according to degree of intensity and structure. Each facility offers support services, specialized programming, professional staff, and resource linkage
The organization currently operates over 160 beds at various locations in Erie County. These locations are strategically located within and outside the City of Buffalo so that residents can access outside services that may assist them on their road to recovery.
We understand that homeless individuals with multiple recovery attempts are better served by long-term residential treatment stays, and we provide a tiered structure of services that offers long-term high intensity treatment experiences as well as limited low-intensity group apartment stays. This structure allows for individuals with varying degrees of addiction and mental health severity to be placed in the level of care that their condition requires. This placement can include 6 months of intensive residential treatment, 3-6 months of community residential services, up to 12 months of residential support in a group apartment setting and possible placement in subsidized apartment
Cazenovia Recovery Systems, Inc. accepts payment from Department of Social Services Congregate Care Level II, Supplemental Security Income, Social Security Disability, sliding scale private pay, and healthcare insurance providers.
