Thank You!

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported Recovery Day this past weekend! It was a wonderful celebration filled with great activities and grateful attendees. And despite a pretty fearsome storm, the celebration was a resounding success! We had more attendants when compared to last year, and that was after some not-so-cooperative weather. There were also more vendors in attendance, and we featured a brand-new art show. New York State Assemblywoman Crystal Peoples-Stokes gave a heartwarming and encouraging speech about the inspiring resilience of our residents and for the need for our services in our area. The kids’ activities were really popular (especially the popcorn machine!) and those that participated in our race continued to inspire. We promise to continue to expand this great event next year. Thank you again, everyone!
