Supportive Living Program

Supportive Living is for those individuals who need minimal support to attain readiness for independent living. This level of care focuses on relapse prevention and vocational development. Individual counseling and didactic groups are designed to meet the unique needs of each person. All residents are required to participate in continued care counseling, either within our agency or on an as-needed outpatient basis. Qualified health professionals at this level of care emphasize a relapse prevention strategy. This program also provides continued linkage to vocational, education or employment training.

The agency's Supportive Living Program consists of individuals with a chronic history of relapse, but are now able to maintain prolonged periods of abstinence with continued structure. Supportive Living is targeted primarily for those who continue to actively pursue employment, vocational or educational goals, but still require a minimal degree of structure as part of an overall relapse prevention strategy.

The Supportive Living Program consists of single or double homes with two to three bedroom apartments for men and women. The properties are conveniently located in the area close to the agency's community residential programs.
