Cazenovia Manor Transition

BUFFALO, NY, December 19, 2017 – Cazenovia Manor, a community residence that serves men in recovery from substance use, is in the process of transitioning to a new element of care certified by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services.

Residents currently at Cazenovia Manor will continue to receive services under the new model. Alternatively, if they have personally stated that they are ready for the next level of independence in their recovery, they will transition internally to our Supportive Living program, which offers peer-supported apartments with continued recovery services throughout Buffalo. For those who do not qualify for the new element and are not quite ready for Supportive Living, they will remain at Cazenovia Manor until they are ready.

Cazenovia Recovery makes every effort to ensure that the individualized clinical needs of all of our residents are met. Our goal is to instill increasing levels of independence in the people that we support. To meet the many different levels of need for individuals in recovery from substance use, we offer a complete continuum of residential care.

Founded in Buffalo in 1980, the not-for-profit Cazenovia Recovery Systems is a vital partner in building successful lives for those in recovery from substance use. In 2016, Cazenovia Recovery supported more than 1,000 individuals through its 10 Western New York residential treatment and service programs.
