A Safe Place for Care

Caz Recovery’s programs have been open for 40 years and remained open throughout COVID-19. We are committed to helping Western New York recover from the effects of both this pandemic and the opioid epidemic.

From our locations in Buffalo, to Niagara Falls, to programs in serene, rural areas, our facilities are located all across Western New York. Cazenovia has always had effective safety procedures, but in the face of COVID-19, we’ve promoted social distancing, thorough handwashing, wearing facemasks, disinfection throughout our facilities, and more.

Thanks to these efforts, no residents in our programs have tested positive for COVID-19. We’re going to continue these personal protective measures to ensure the health and safety of everyone in our programs.

We’re all quickly learning the effects of COVID-19 are wide-reaching. Overdoses are rising, and much of the progress our communities have made in the opioid epidemic is in jeopardy. Thankfully, resources like Caz Recovery are still available to help people with substance use disorders. As the field quickly implements necessary telehealth advancements that providers have requested for years, it’s important to recognize that telehealth treatment does not meet everyone’s needs. Residential programs in particular specialize in helping people with long histories of active use who have tried multiple times to become substance-free.
