Welcome to the new Cazenovia Recovery

As you can see, we’ve got a new look.


Since 1980, we’ve provided substance use disorder services to communities throughout Western New York. Over the last few years, we’ve experienced some pretty dramatic changes both as an agency and within the field of substance use services.

Small and medium-sized providers like us constantly face many challenges. From funding issues to the quickening pace of technology requirements, it’s a struggle just to survive. Sadly, many have had to close their doors. While others were unable to adapt, however, we endured. The situation is still tenuous in many ways, but with the support of our dedicated staff members, we’ll be able to continue saving lives.

Meanwhile, the opioid epidemic is affecting families nationwide. As an agency that helps people with substance use disorders, we’re working harder than ever to break down this disease’s stigma. There has been progress, but there’s so much more work to do. In order to be a part of this very important conversation, we want to tell uplifting and positive stories of people with substance use disorders. And, to do that, we need a strong brand that inspires people to chase their dreams and keep up hope.


A little more than a year ago, we began the process of developing a new brand that reflects our strength in the face of these developments. During early discussions on how to portray our identity, we continuously came back to the idea of conquering a mountain. To us, it represents both the journey we’ve experienced as an agency and the journey people in recovery make every single day. It may be an arduous path, but in the end, it’s absolutely worth it.

As we look to broaden our scope and develop exciting new plans, we believe that conquering a mountain truly represents Cazenovia Recovery. To conquer a mountain, you have to make a journey that takes fortitude, planning, and support. At the same time, we used this concept to choose our new colors. We specifically wanted a range that reflected the people we serve: vibrant, courageous, and unique.


Today, we’re launching our new brand. We have a new website designed by Lossless Creative Studio that works on all devices, and we’re using print materials that showcase our new look. We’re also premiering our new video. Created in collaboration with 19 IDEAS and funded by Mike Cardus, it gives a great overview of our work, our services, and the importance of changing the perception of substance use.

It’s a big day for us, and none of it would have been possible without support. We’d especially like to thank StoryGrowing WNY, Rob Neiler, and GetSET. Their help in the last two years made a major difference in being able to successfully navigate the rebranding process.

While our outward appearance has been updated for 2019, what hasn’t changed is our dedication to people with substance use disorders. We continue to strive to provide the best possible residential services and treatment for people in need. After all, hope lives here.
