Unity House

Unity House is located on Buffalo’s East Side and can serve 24 men in recovery. The program is certified by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports to provide Reintegration services. Unity House also receives oversight from the Erie County Department of Mental Health.

Becoming self-sufficient with a substance use disorder can be a challenge. That’s why we offer Reintegration services at Unity House. Reintegration programs help people learn the skills it takes to be independent. They also provide people with supportive environments as they pursue work, volunteer opportunities, or educational goals. In addition, independent and group counseling sessions are available onsite. 

Reintegration also focuses on connecting residents to the following community resources:

• Outpatient treatment
• Primary and specialty medical care
• Mental health services
• Education and vocational services

We recognize that everyone’s individual path to recovery is different. Our care reflects this as every resident chooses their own personal recovery goals and relevant recovery groups. Each person’s stay is unique and can vary significantly from a couple of weeks to a couple of months or more. It all depends on what each person needs.

• Men 18 years of age or older
• In need of substance use services
