Help Us Transform Lives!

Caz Recovery empowers people to pursue recovery from substance use disorders, build healthier lives, and reach their full potential. Since 1980, we have been dedicated to this mission, and our hard-working team is at the heart of everything we do. Our best employees have deep and personal connections to the plight of those in recovery. The passion of the Caz community not only fuels our mission but also inspires the people we support to grow and thrive. To learn more about the exciting employment opportunities at Caz, we sat down with members of the Human Resources Team: Donna Murphy, Human Resources Assistant and Kristin Minervini, Vice President of Employee Services. Kristin describes the Caz culture perfectly, “We’re not just building a team; we’re building a family. Our mission and values resonate with everyone here, and it’s amazing to see the impact we have together.”

Kristin Minervini, our VP of Employee Services

Caz Recovery is continuing to grow and looking for compassionate, driven individuals to join our team! We have opportunities available across all of our residential programs, as well as in our administrative offices. We are looking for individuals with diverse skills, a passion for the work we do, and goals of future growth to join our mission.

Making a Difference, One Role at a Time

Currently, we are actively seeking to fill clinical roles, while also offering opportunities in program support and administrative services. For clinical professionals, our positions like Clinical Aide, Support Services Specialists (soon to be named Clinical Specialists), and Counselors offer opportunities to work directly with residents and witness their awe-inspiring transformations. “Seeing residents progress and knowing you played a part in their journey is incredibly fulfilling,” shared Ed Cichon, Vice President of Advocacy, Communications, and DEI. “You get to witness real change.”

Opportunities Across Western New York

Caz serves communities throughout Western New York, offering a variety of career paths across our residential programs and administrative offices. With locations in Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Lockport, and other surrounding areas, our team members are deeply connected to the communities they serve. These roles go beyond providing support—they offer a chance to grow professionally and personally. From direct care positions to administrative and operational roles, there’s a place for everyone to make a meaningful impact.

“Being part of a team that truly understands, and values recovery is incredibly rewarding,” said Kristin. “Our employees feel connected not only to their colleagues but also to the residents and the mission that drives us.”

For those seeking flexible schedules, we offer opportunities that cater to a variety of shifts, including daytime, evening, and overnight hours. Whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time roles, our programs are designed to provide meaningful work that aligns with your goals and availability. At Caz Recovery, Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) is a core value and practice that we prioritize. We provide extensive training on trauma-informed care and adopt this approach for both staff members and residents, ensuring a supportive and understanding workplace culture that promotes well-being, safety, and growth for all.

Benefits That Support You

At Caz Recovery, we recognize the importance of taking care of our team. That’s why we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and professional growth. These include significant health and dental insurance contributions with multiple plan options; tuition reimbursement for credentials and licenses such as the Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC), as well as many others; potential additional monetary incentives for further career development through a development plan; over four weeks of paid time off in your first year; and a free $30,000 life insurance policy. Kristin emphasized, “We want to ensure that our employees not only grow professionally but also feel supported personally. Our benefits reflect that commitment.”

Join Our Team

This year, we’ve enhanced our sign-on and referral bonuses to attract top talent. Applicants that fill positions that require a Qualified Health Professional (QHP) credential will now receive a $1,500 bonus upon successful completion of their 90-day probationary period. Along with this, employees who refer successful candidates, will get $500 (if the referral has a QHP or pending QHP) or $250 (for non-credentialed staff), just for encouraging a friend to advance their career.  These incentives are just one more way we’re investing in the people who make our mission possible. If you’re ready to make a difference, visit our job portal to explore current openings. Know someone who would be a great fit? Share this opportunity and help us grow our community of changemakers. “We’re not just providing jobs; we’re building a place where people can thrive and make a real difference,” Donna concluded.
